Exploration Strategy

  • Polar’s exploration permits in northern Norway cover large areas of favorable geology to host Tier 1 magmatic Ni deposits

  • All of the northern projects have known Ni-Cu mineralization, indicating that the intrusive bodies have potential to host magmatic Ni sulphide deposits and to concentrate Ni into high-tenor ore

  • The Ni project areas have seen little modern exploration but can quickly progress by mapping and surface sampling

  • Heli-mounted magnetic and electromagnetic (EM) surveys, such as the SkyTEM system, can rapidly bring the nickel projects to drill-ready status and can be flown in winter to generate targets for drilling in summer of the same year
